Angela Bartels is a licensed Texas REALTOR®, real estate investor, and marketing strategist who combines more than 20 years of business experience with a passion for helping clients navigate one of life’s most important investments. As a lifelong San Antonio resident, Angela brings deep local knowledge, strategic thinking, and a client-focused approach to every real estate transaction.
Working alongside her father, Wayne Ramirez, at Wayne Realty Group, Angela specializes in helping buyers, sellers, investors, and families find their place in San Antonio. Her firsthand knowledge of the city’s neighborhoods, schools, and growth patterns allows her to guide clients with confidence, whether they are purchasing their first home, relocating, investing, or preparing to sell a longtime family property.
Before entering real estate, Angela built a successful career working with San Antonio-founded companies including Rackspace Technology and Big Sun Solar, as well as startup ventures through Scaleworks and Geekdom. Throughout her career, she led marketing, communications, and business development initiatives focused on driving growth, increasing revenue, and building trusted brands.
In the renewable energy sector, Angela developed the go-to-market strategy for Big Sun Solar’s 5MW community-owned solar program awarded by CPS Energy. The program enrolled more than 400 customers and sold out in less than two years during the pandemic. She later created the company’s commercial solar marketing program, helping secure major clients including Safran Helicopter Engines, Goodwill, and Ancira Enterprises. Angela also led communications efforts when the City of San Antonio selected Big Sun Solar for a $30 million solar initiative spanning 42 city properties across all 10 council districts.
Today, Angela applies that same strategic mindset to real estate. Her background in marketing and business development helps sellers position their homes effectively, while her analytical approach enables buyers to make informed decisions in an ever-changing market. She understands that buying or selling a home is more than a transaction—it’s a significant life decision that requires clear communication, thoughtful guidance, and trusted advocacy.
Angela is particularly passionate about San Antonio’s urban core neighborhoods, where she and her family have planted deep roots. She purchased her first home in Monticello Park and has extensive knowledge of historic and established neighborhoods including Jefferson, Monticello Park, Beacon Hill, Alta Vista, and surrounding communities. She enjoys helping clients discover neighborhoods that fit their lifestyle, whether they’re seeking walkability, architectural character, strong schools, or proximity to downtown.
A graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, Angela began her college career studying engineering at The University of Texas at Austin and spent time studying abroad in Spain. She and her husband, Jason, are raising their three children in San Antonio and are active supporters of public education and community initiatives throughout the city.
